Notification balloon notification messages

The notification area icon represents all managed storage systems. You can view balloon notification messages in the notification area to see important changes in status.

Balloon notifications are generated when the status of the storage systems becomes "worse" than before. These notifications are also logged in the event log.

The balloon notifications are displayed above the notification area icon and remain about nine seconds before disappearing. The text of the message summarizes the event that caused the status change and might suggest corrective action.

If you click the balloon notification, the System Manager application automatically opens the correct screen for you to investigate the problem.
